KPD Announces Fourth Annual Touch-A-Truck

LĪHUʻE – The Kaua‘i Police Department will host the fourth annual Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, June 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event is free and will be held at the Vidinha Stadium parking lot in Līhu‘e.

The Kapa‘a Swimming Pool will be closed today, June 10, due to pool maintenance. The pool will be closed tomorrow, June 11, in observance of the King Kamehameha Day holiday. The pool is anticipated to open Thursday, June 12, on its regular schedule.

DOW invites the public to discuss the Hanalei Water Line Improvements

LĪHUʻE – The Department of Water (DOW) invites the public to attend an upcoming event to discuss the Hanalei Water Line Improvements Project. Join the DOW on Tuesday, June 10, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Hanalei Elementary School Cafeteria located at 5-5415 Kūhiō Highway in Hanalei.

DOW partners with KEO’s meal delivery programs

LĪHUʻE – In advance of the 2025 hurricane season, the Department of Water (DOW) has partnered with Kauai Economic Opportunity Inc. (KEO) to encourage water emergency preparedness through programs for Meals on Wheels, Emergency Shelter and Transitional Housing. During May, participants of these programs each received a complimentary 20-liter water storage container with their meal delivery.
