There are 3 facets to the Treasury Division of Finance:

Treasury
The Treasury collects, accounts for, protects, deposits, invests, and disburses the public’s monies due or receivable by the County and State.

Driver Licensing
The Driver Licensing function issues new and renewal licenses for drivers of motor vehicles. This function oversees and administers the Commercial Driver License and the Periodic Motor Vehicle Inspection programs for the State of Hawaii. In addition, this function issues disabled person placards, and taxi permits.

Motor Vehicle Registration
The Motor Vehicle Registration function registers motor vehicles, trailers, motorcycles, bicycles, dogs and issues license plates, emblems or tags, and business licenses. For more information call (808) 241- 6577 or visit the Motor Vehicle Registration section.
