The County of Kaua'i, Department of Parks and Recreation has transitioned to "ONLINE REGISTRATION"

County Neighborhood center  personnel will be available to assist  those without computers for the new online registration process at  Kekaha NC, Hanapepe NC, Kalaheo NC, Koloa NC,Lihue NC, Kapaa NC, Kilauea NC

Our staffing per program site consists of two Program Site Managers and summer aides. The Neighborhood Center locations are also staffed by a permanent Recreation Manager.  Our program is generally based on a ratio of 1 staff to every 15 participants. Please refer to your specific SEP location using the taskbar on the left for more specific staffing information.

Junior Leader Program

 

 

  CLICK HERE to download an application form for Summer Enrichment 2013's Junior Leader positions.

 
All children 12 through 16 years old qualify to take part in our Junior Leader program. Each applicant is required to submit a one-page essay on describing their reasons on why they want to be a Junior Leader.  There are three positions available per program site. This program provides youth with an opportunity for personal development, community service, and career sampling.
 
You may email your completed application to jkealalio@kauai.gov, or fax, mail or hand-deliver it (please refer to above addresses for the appropriate information).  As this application requires the signature of a parent or legal guardian, please be sure to print and sign it before sending it to the Parks and Recreation Office.
