I would like to encourage you to attend the next Ka Leo O Kaua‘i meeting in your area. When we work together, we can address concerns in your community. This process is intended to build community by making connections — neighbor to neighbor — and taking action together, one step at a time.
The truth is County government cannot do everything we wish it could do. But as partners, we can accomplish more. Who better to set the communities’ priorities than thoughtful, concerned citizens?
If you cannot attend the Ka Leo O Kaua‘i meeting in your neighborhood, perhaps you could send a representative from your family, business or organization. Join me in building community together, through partnership, fellowship and with the Aloha spirit. I look forward to seeing you at a Ka Leo O Kaua‘i meeting soon.
Aloha pumehana,
Bryan J. Baptiste, Mayor
