Anini Beach Park, 25 miles from Lihue. Take Highway 56. Turn off road is 2 miles past Kilauea Town (2/10 mile). Turn right after big bridge for another 2/10 mile, turn left onto Anini Road to a dead end sign. Continue 1/5 mile. Campsite past the boat ramp after the first two pavilions. Anini Park (12.34 acres) contains pavilions, comfort stations, cold showers, and picnic tables. This is a beautiful reef protected area that is great for swimming and snorkeling.
