Wilcox Medical Center, 3-3420 Kuhio Hwy, Lihue. Located at the rear entrance of the medical center.
To accommodate an increase in demand for COVID-19 testing, Wilcox Medical Center will now be offering drive-up COVID-19 specimen collection on Saturdays from noon to 3 p.m., starting on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021. The drive-up specimen collection site is also open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Testing at this location is available on a first-come, first-served basis for patients with signs and symptoms of COVID-19. The drive-up collection provides convenient access for people to be tested in a safe environment that limits exposure to other patients and health care staff in the hospital setting. Testing is handled by Clinical Labs of Hawaii.
A physician’s order is required for specimen collection, along with a photo ID and insurance card.
Patients should contact their primary care physician to get a physician order. Those who do not have a primary care physician may call the Hawaii Pacific Health COVID-19 Virtual Clinic to be evaluated by a care provider who can order a COVID-19 test if appropriate. Call 808-462-5430 and select option 3.
