The County of Kaua'i uses Unitek Solvent Services as a vendor for the disposal of used oil, fuels and used oil filter drums.
IMPORTANT!!!
- A new reusable storage container with a lid, such as a 3 to 5 gallon bucket is recommended.
- If using a container that once held food, beverages, or other products, be sure it is cleaned and clearly labeled "used oil" and kept out of reach of children and pets.
- Never mix used oil with gasoline or solvents.
- Never put used oil in containers that previously contained bleach or other chemicals (Used oil mixed with bleach, gasoline, or solvent can become hazardous waste).
