An important goal of the KWUDP update is to provide guidance for the island’s water resource managers, ensuring that future water needs of the island are met while preserving the integrity of the island’s water resources. It will also provide guidance to ensure that sustainable water resources are integrated into the county’s long-range plans and development of land use policies.
