Water Conservation Notice lifted for Kalāheo-Kōloa & Līhuʻe-Kapaʻa

KAUA’I - The Department of Water (DOW) has lifted the water conservation notice for the Kalāheo-Kōloa (including Poʻipū) and Līhuʻe-Kapaʻa (including Puhi) Water Systems service areas, on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.  Customers in the Kalāheo-Kōloa (including Poʻipū) and Līhuʻe-Kapaʻa (including Puhi) Water Systems service areas may now resume normal water use.

Water Conservation Notice remains in effect for the following service areas until further notice: 

  • Anahola Water System 
  • ʻAnini Water System 
  • Haʻena-Wainiha Water System 
  • Hanalei Water System (2:30 p.m. 09-16-2026 (UPDATE): Lifted for Hanalei)
  • Kīlauea Water System 

Water Conservation Notice lifted for the following service areas:

  • Hanapēpē-Ele’ele Water Systems
  • Kekaha-Waimea Water Systems
  • Kalāheo-Kōloa/Poʻipū Water Systems
  • Puhi/Līhuʻe-Kapaʻa Water Systems
