Deceased Man Found in Wainiha on Sept. 11

WAINIHA – On September 11, 2026, at approximately 1:00 p.m., first responders were dispatched to a report of a deceased man found in the vicinity of Kūhiō Highway and Wainiha Powerhouse Road. The victim has been identified as a 59-year-old man from Wainiha. As KPD is currently trying to notify next of kin, the decedentʻs name cannot be released at this time.
