KPD Records Services Adjust Hours for Staff Training

LĪHUʻE – The Kaua‘i Police Department (KPD) is notifying the public of temporary changes to Records service hours due to scheduled staff training sessions in August and September.

The Records registration window will be closed for the entire day on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.

Additional modified service hours are as follows:

• Thursday, September 4, 2025 – Closed from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., open from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, September 16, 2025 – Closed from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Please note that Firearms registration services will not be affected by these closures and will remain open during normal business hours.

Normal business hours for the Records Section are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding state and federally observed holidays. Firearms registration services are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
