KPD Records window holiday hours for Statehood Day

LĪHUʻE – The Kaua‘i Police Department’s Records services and firearms registration will have modified hours of operation in observance of Statehood Day.

During weeks with state and county holidays, please anticipate modified hours of operation.

For the week of August 12 through 16, the Records window will be open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Morning hours are from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., and afternoon hours are from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Firearms registration services will also be available on these days, with morning hours from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and afternoon hours from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Records window will be closed on Friday, Aug. 16, in observance of Statehood Day.

Normal hours of operation will resume on Aug. 19 and can be found at https://www.kauai.gov/Government/Departments-Agencies/Police-Department/Records-Section.
