KPD seeks public’s help locating missing Lāwa‘i man

Feb. 13 UPDATE: On Thursday, Feb. 13, a deceased male was found near the Kukuiolono Loop Trail in Kalāheo. Preliminary reports identified the individual as Noa Howatt. No foul play is suspected, and an autopsy is pending to determine the cause of death.
The Kaua‘i Police Department extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of Noa Howatt during this incredibly difficult time.

LĪHUʻE – The Kaua‘i Police Department (KPD) is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Lāwa‘i man.
Noa Howatt, a 33-year-old man from Lāwa‘i, was last seen on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025.
Howatt is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs approximately 165 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket and dark-colored surf shorts.
Anyone with information about Howatt’s whereabouts is urged to call KPD Dispatch at (808) 241-1711.
