KPD seeks public’s help locating missing Wailua man

Feb. 27 UPDATE: On Wednesday, Feb. 26, a deceased male was found near Salt Pond Beach Park in ‘Ele‘ele. Preliminary reports identified the individual as Henry Aul III. No foul play is suspected, and an autopsy is pending to determine the cause of death.
The Kaua‘i Police Department extends its condolences to the family and friends of Henry Aul III during this difficult time.

LĪHUʻE – The Kaua‘i Police Department (KPD) is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing Wailua man.
Henry Aul III, a 61-year-old man from Wailua, has been reported missing. He is commonly known by the nickname Hank.
Aul is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 177 pounds, with green eyes and straight blond hair. He was last seen near the Waipouli Town Center in Kapa‘a, wearing a white t-shirt, white shorts, and boots.
