Man Arrested Following Princeville Structure Fire

PRINCEVILLE – A man was arrested on Thursday in connection with a structure fire in Princeville.

On Thursday, May 15, 2025, at approximately 11 a.m., first responders were dispatched to Namakeha Loop following reports of a structure fire. Personnel with the Kaua‘i Fire Department successfully extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported.

Based on witness statements and surveillance footage, responding officers with the Kaua‘i Police Department determined the fire was intentionally set. The suspect, identified as 51-year-old Krishna Lysowski of Princeville, was taken into custody without incident.

Lysowski was arrested for the offense of Arson in the First Degree. He is currently being held in KPD cellblock with bail set at $102,000.
