December 11 Update: The Kaua‘i Police Department extends its gratitude to the community for their assistance. Thanks to information provided by the public, detectives were able to pursue additional leads and have confirmed that Durnell has traveled out of state.

LĪHU‘E – The Kaua‘i Police Department (KPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing man.
Jacob Durnell, 30, who has no known permanent residence, has been reported as missing. His last known contact was on December 1, 2025. Durnell is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, approximately 175 pounds, with blue eyes and short brown hair. He is known to frequent the area spanning from Līhuʻe to Kaumakani.
