Registration for Summer Fun swim lessons begins May 24

LĪHU‘E – The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that registration for the county’s 2025 Summer Fun Program’s swim lessons will open on May 24 at 3 p.m., at the Waimea and Kapa‘a pools for children age 5 to 11.

Registration for this no-cost program is on a first-come, first-served basis and be limited to 20 participants per class, per session.

There will be two sessions of swim lessons as part of this program. Session 1 will run from June 3 to 27; Session 2 will run from July 1 to 25. When registering, you will have the option to take class 1 beginner from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. or class 2 advanced from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Each session will conclude with a graduation celebration. For session 1, graduation will take place on Saturday, June 28 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. For session 2, graduation will take place on Saturday, July 26 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
