LĪHU‘E – The Kaua’i Police Department (KPD), in partnership with Kind Koffee Co., announces a community event called ‘Coffee with a Cop.’ The event will be held at Kind Koffee, 3366 Waapa Road in Līhuʻe on July 8 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

This community engagement event offers residents the opportunity to meet with law enforcement officers, ask questions and exchange ideas over a cup of coffee.  People are encouraged to attend and share their concerns in a relaxed, neutral setting. There is no agenda, and no appointment is necessary.

“After a four-year hiatus, KPD is excited to bring back Coffee with a Cop to our community,” said Chief Tai. “Coffee stimulates conversation and builds bridges between law enforcement and the citizens that we protect and serve. We want to show that weʻre here to talk story and listen.”
