TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Road Closures in Kōloa on July 25

KŌLOA – The Kauaʻi Police Department (KPD) is advising the public of temporary road closures in Kōloa on Saturday, July 25, 2026 for the Annual Historic Kōloa Plantation Days Parade.

Road Closures:

  • Poʻipū Road (from Kiahuna Golf Course to Kōloa Road) will be closed from 2-5 p.m.
  • Kōloa Road (from Ala Kalanikaumaka to Weliweli Road) will be closed from 2-5 p.m.
  • Maluhia Road (from Kōloa Road to Ala Kinoiki) will be closed 2-8 p.m.

KPD officers will be posted at key intersections and other strategic locations. For the road closure at Maluhia Road, KPD will be present until 5 p.m., after which time a private security company will maintain the road closure until 8 p.m.

Roads open for travel in and out of Po’ipū will be Ala Kalanikaumaka and Ala Kinoiki.

Motorists should drive with caution and allow additional time to get to their destination as traffic delays are expected.
