June 9 CORRECTION: A previous version of this news release incorrectly stated which part of Rice Street would be closed off. The road closure is on the section of Rice Street between Ho’olako Street and Eiwa Street. The correction has been made below.

LĪHU‘E – The Kauaʻi Police Department is advising the public of temporary road closures in Līhuʻe on Saturday, June 13, from 8:45 a.m. to approximately 11 a.m. for the Kaua’i King’s Parade.

Road Closures:

  • Hoʻolako Street (from Vidinha Stadium to Rice Street)
  • Rice Street (from Hoʻolako Street to Eiwa Street)

Motorists should expect delays and drive with caution.
