Road closures for 152nd King Kamehameha Day Parade

LĪHUʻE – The 152nd King Kamehameha Day Celebration Parade is scheduled for Saturday, Jun. 15, at 8:45 a.m.

To accommodate the event, the Kaua‘i Police Department will close off all streets along the parade route from 8:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Road closures will include:

  • Hoʻolako Street (from Vidinha Stadium to Rice Street)

  • Rice Street (from Hoʻolako Street to Eiwa Street)

  • Eiwa Street (Rice Street to Hardy Street)                                                                                                

Motorists should also allow additional time to get to their destinations as traffic delays are expected. Officers will be monitoring all road closures.

The Kaua‘i Bus stop on Eiwa Street will be temporarily relocated to Hardy Street. All routes will service this stop at the Hardy/Eiwa intersection while the road closures are in effect. Additionally, Route 70, Līhu‘e Shuttle will not operate on Rice Street during the parade.
