County announces holiday closures

LĪHU‘E – In observance of the Veterans Day holiday, County of Kaua‘i offices and all neighborhood centers will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10.

Closures include the following on Nov. 11:

• the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools;
• the Reynolds Recycling HI5 Redemption Center in Līhu‘e;
• the Kekaha Landfill; and
• all refuse transfer stations.

The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged. 

The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its regular schedule on the holiday.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Monday, Nov. 13.
