County announces holiday closures

LĪHU‘E – In observance of the Statehood Day holiday, County of Kaua‘i offices and all neighborhood centers will be closed on Friday, August 21. 

Closures also include the following facilities:

• The Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools;
• All refuse transfer stations;
• The Kekaha Landfill;
• The  Līhuʻe Redemption Center;
• The HI5 Redemption Center in Kīlauea; and
• The Puhi Metals Recycling Facility.

The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Monday, August 24.
