County announces holiday closures

LĪHU‘E – In observance of the Prince Kūhiō Day and Good Friday holidays, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on March 26 and March 29.

Closures also include the following facilities on March 26 and March 29:

• all neighborhood centers;
• all refuse transfer stations;
• the Kekaha Landfill;
• the Puhi Metals Recycling Center;
• Reynold’s Recycling, the Līhu‘e HI5 Redemption Center; and
• the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools. 

Kaua‘i Community Recycling Services (KCRS) in Kīlauea and Kapa‘a will remain open.

The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged.

The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on March 27 and April 1.
