The Kaua‘i Emergency Management Agency announces that it will switch to a new emergency mass notification service on May 5.
“Everbridge has been selected as the County’s new emergency mass notification provider,” said Elton Ushio, Administrator for the Kaua‘i Emergency Management Agency. “The decision was made by a County committee with experience in disaster and emergency response, and we are grateful to Inspiron, the County’s former emergency mass notification service, for their years of dedicated support.”
As part of this transition, existing opt-in notification data from the current system will be migrated into the new platform where possible. The new system will also feature Everbridge’s Resident Connect database, which helps expand outreach to on-island contacts beyond traditional opt-in lists.
To sign up for Everbridge, the county’s new emergency notification service, please go to the Everbridge County of Kaua‘i Resident Portal or contact the Kaua‘i Emergency Management Agency at 808-241-1800 or kema@kauai.gov.
