LĪHU‘E – The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will be closing at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, to accommodate a staff training.

Kupuna hour will occur as normal. There will be no walk-in services for the day after kupuna hour. Normal hours will resume on Friday, July 28.

The last customers of the Motor Vehicle Registration division will be seen at 10:48 a.m. on Thursday.

The DMV is open Monday to Friday, except for state and federal holidays, to all customers from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kupuna hour is from 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Appointment holders may check in for a scheduled appointment up to 15 minutes prior to their appointment time. If you are more than 5 minutes late, the appointment will be canceled and you will then be considered a walk-in customer. Walk-in customers will be served as out time permits.
