KAPAʻA – The Department of Water (DOW) has issued an emergency water service shutdown for customers located on a portion Paako Street in Wailua Homesteads, closest to the Kuamoo Road intersection, at approximately 11:15 a.m. today. Water service will be unavailable for approximately 5 to 6 hours, as DOW crews conduct extensive repairs to the main line.
