The County of Kaua‘i is reminding property owners that the deadline to file an appeal of their 2026 real property assessment is December 31, 2025.
The County of Kaua‘i Real Property Assessment Division has also launched a new Online Real Property Tax Appeal application system, which is available at connect.kauai.gov.
Developed in partnership with ElementsXS/LIMS, the new platform allows property owners who disagree with their assessment notice to conveniently submit their appeal application and pay the required appeal fee online.
Property owners may also continue to submit appeal applications and payments by mail or in person at the Real Property Assessment Office, located at 4444 Rice Street, Suite 454, Līhu‘e, Hawai‘i 96766.
A completed appeal form must be submitted with a $75 deposit fee for each appeal. Required forms are available on the County’s website.
