According to a preliminary report, upon arrival shortly before 2:40 p.m., firefighters arrived on scene to find multiple vehicles engulfed in flames that caused an outdoor storage area to also catch fire.

Firefighters arrived on scene to find multiple vehicles burning within a scrap metal vehicle storage area. Crews immediately began suppression efforts to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading beyond the affected area. Due to the size of the fire and the volume of smoke, additional resources were requested to assist with firefighting operations.

The fire was brought under control at approximately 4:03 p.m. Following containment, firefighters worked alongside heavy equipment operators to separate and move piles of vehicles and scrap materials, allowing crews to access and extinguish remaining hotspots. Personnel remained on scene for several hours to ensure the fire was fully extinguished before clearing the incident.

Firefighters cleared the scene shortly before 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
