LĀWA‘I – The Department of Public Works and its contractor, Earthworks Pacific Inc., are announcing intermittent road closures along portions of Wawae Road in Lāwa‘i from October 20 to October 24, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.
Intermittent 15 to 30 minute full road closures will occur throughout the workday in the vicinity of Wawae Road.
The following closures are necessary for the removal of a large Albizia Tree.
Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
