The Kaua‘i Fire Department is responding to a brush fire in Hanamulu near Kapule Highway.
There are no threats to nearby structures and no reports of injuries.
The fire was reported Saturday, July 4, shortly after 2:05 p.m.
Assets
Personnel with the Lihue Fire Station, ARFF, the on-duty Battalion Chief, and the Kauai Police Department are responding to this incident.
Road closures
At this time, the Kauai Police Department has closed Kapule Highway until further notice, as fire crews are on scene.
