K-PAL Hosts Second Annual Mayor’s Youth Track Meet for Grades 6–8

LĪHU‘E – The Kaua‘i Police Activities League (K-PAL), in partnership with Island School and Iwi Kua, is proud to once again host the Mayor’s Youth Track Meet for students in grades 6 - 8. Now in its second year, the event gives middle school athletes across Kaua‘i a fun and supportive opportunity to compete, build confidence, and celebrate sportsmanship.
The track meet will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Island School in Līhu‘e. Registration will start at 8:00 a.m. Events will include the high jump, long jump, shot put, the 4x60-meter hurdle relay, the 60-meter open, the 400-meter open, the 1,600-meter medley relay and the 800-meter medley relay. The meet will be divided by grade level and gender.
Registration is open now through April 30, 2026. To participate, parents or guardians must:
- Create an account on Athletic.net and add their child as a Managed Athlete. Participants not affiliated with a school may register as Individual Athletes.
- Complete the K-PAL registration form at kauaipal.org.
Parents and guardians may also contact their school’s designated representative for questions about participation.
