KPD Asks for Public’s Help to Identify Individuals in Līhuʻe Investiga

LĪHU‘E  – The Kaua‘i Police Department (KPD) is actively investigating multiple crimes that occurred overnight this past week in the Līhuʻe area and is requesting the public’s help in identifying individuals captured in surveillance footage.

The reported incidents include:

  • A series of vehicle break-ins in residential neighborhoods involving unlocked vehicles
  • Criminal property damage at Elsie H. Wilcox Elementary School

Both incidents occurred the night of Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Surveillance footage has captured individuals believed to be connected to these cases. Detectives are looking into whether the incidents may be related and are urging the community to come forward with any information.
