KPD Seeks Public’s Assistance Locating Wanted Wailua Man

LĪHU‘E – The Kaua‘i Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a Wailua man who is wanted in connection with multiple ongoing criminal investigations.
Kamron Cortez, 31, is currently wanted on an outstanding felony warrant for Unauthorized Control of a Propelled Vehicle, with bail set at $20,000.
Cortez is 5 feet 5 inches tall, approximately 145 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He is known to frequent the Kapa‘a and Līhu‘e areas.
Cortez is also a suspect in multiple recent burglaries, vehicle break-ins, and vehicle theft incidents. He is considered armed and dangerous. Members of the public are advised not to approach him if seen and to contact law enforcement immediately.
