LĪHU‘E – The Kaua’i Police Department (KPD) announces adjusted hours for firearms registration services due to staff training.
The adjusted hours will occur from June 16-18, 2026. During this time, the firearms registration window will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. only.
Regular business hours will resume Friday, June 19, 2026. Firearms registration services are normally available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., except on state and federal holidays.
Please note that the KPD Records Section will not be affected by these closures.
