LĪHU‘E – The Kaua’i Police Department (KPD), in partnership with Starbucks Coffee Co. at Kukui Grove Center, announces the next “Coffee with a Cop” event taking place on Thursday, Aug. 13 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
“Coffee with a Cop is designed to show the community that we welcome interactions and are here to listen,” said Chief of Police Rudy Tai. “Stop by, enjoy a cup of delicious coffee, and allow us the opportunity to get to know you better.”
This community engagement event offers residents the opportunity to meet with law enforcement officers, ask questions and exchange ideas over a cup of coffee. People are encouraged to attend and share their concerns in a relaxed, neutral setting. There is no agenda, and no appointment is necessary.
