KPD reminds public to utilize non-emergency numbers

LĪHUʻE – During the ongoing hurricane response, the Kaua‘i Police Department (KPD) is experiencing a high volume of calls to dispatch and is reminding the public to help keep emergency phone lines available.

The public is reminded to call 911 only for emergencies requiring immediate assistance. For non-emergency needs, including utility-related issues, please use the KPD non-emergency lines below.

Due to the ongoing phone outage, KPD’s non-emergency line at 808-241-1711 remains unavailable. For non-emergencies, call:
