KPD seeks tips to identify mailbox credit card theft suspect

LĪHUʻE – The Kaua‘i Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect who was captured on security cameras making unauthorized transactions with stolen credit cards.

On Jun. 28 and Jul. 19, the suspect used two different credit cards to make unauthorized purchases at Walmart. Both cards were stolen from residential mailboxes.

These fraudulent activities not only affect the victims, but also pose a threat to community safety. Individuals who recognize the suspect or have information regarding this case are encouraged to come forward.

Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers Kaua‘i at 808-246-8300, visiting crimestopperskauai.org, or using the Crime Stoppers Kaua‘i P3 Tips Mobile App. Crime Stoppers Kaua‘i is a non-profit organization that offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 to anyone furnishing anonymous information that leads to an arrest.
