LĪHUʻE – The Kaua‘i Police Department (KPD) announces that all administrative operations, including Records and Firearms Services, will close early at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jun. 12, 2025.
Regular hours of operation will resume on Friday, Jun. 13, 2025. Records services are typically available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and firearms registration services are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., excluding state and federally observed holidays.
Please be advised that emergency response services will continue uninterrupted. The 911 emergency line remains fully operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For non-emergency police assistance, the public is advised to contact the dispatch line at (808) 241-1711.
