The ceremony honored firefighters and officers advancing in rank across multiple levels within the department, reflecting the long hours, sacrifice, and continued service of those who help protect Kauaʻi every day.

“To each of today’s promotees, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and gratitude for your continued service, leadership, and dedication to the people of Kauaʻi,” said Mayor Derek S.K.
