KPD asks for help identifying suspect in North Shore Preserve theft

HANALEI – The Kaua‘i Police Department (KPD) is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man captured on surveillance on Sunday, July 2, 2023, on the North Shore Preserve property in Hanalei.

According to police, the man was captured on surveillance footage on the North Shore Reserve property carrying a white stand-up paddle board into the water, which was later reported stolen.

It is unknown if any other subjects were involved with the theft at this time.

KPD detectives are actively investigating this case.
