Kōloa Shuttle stops temporarily modified on July 25

KŌLOA – The County of Kauaʻi Transportation Agency is advising riders of The Kauaʻi Bus that several stops on the Route 30 Kōloa Shuttle will be temporarily modified on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
Due to road closures for the Annual Historic Kōloa Plantation Days Parade, the following stops will not be serviced during the 2:05 p.m., 3:05 p.m., and 4:05 p.m. Kōloa Shuttle runs:
• Kōloa Telephone Exchange;
• Kōloa Neighborhood Center;
• Kōloa Post Office (first scheduled stop only, at 2:23, 3:23, and 4:23 p.m.);
• Kōloa Road at Horita Road.
The shuttle will continue to service the Kōloa Post Office at its second scheduled stop on each run, at 2:38, 3:38, and 4:38 p.m.
All other Route 30 stops and Kauaʻi Bus routes will operate on their regular schedules. Normal service to all Kōloa Shuttle stops is expected to resume at approximately 5 p.m., once roads reopen following the parade.
The Kauaʻi Police Department is advising the public of the following temporary road closures in Kōloa on Saturday, July 25, for the parade:
• Poʻipū Road, from Kiahuna Golf Course to Kōloa Road, will be closed from 2 to 5 p.m.;
• Kōloa Road, from Ala Kalanikaumaka to Weliweli Road, will be closed from 2 to 5 p.m.; and
• Maluhia Road, from Kōloa Road to Ala Kinoiki, will be closed from 2 to 8 p.m.
Roads open for travel in and out of Poʻipū will be Ala Kalanikaumaka and Ala Kinoiki. Motorists and bus riders should plan ahead and allow additional time to reach their destinations, as traffic delays are expected.
