Lane closures scheduled for guardrail repairs June 10 to 14

The Department of Public Works and its contractor GP Roadway Solutions are announcing lane closures along portions of Olohena Road, Kamalu Road, and Anahola Road from June 10 to 14, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.

The following closures are necessary for guardrail repair and installation work. See below for scheduled work and lane closure information:

• Monday, June 10: Olohena Road between Lehua Street and Kukui Street.
• Wednesday, June 12: Kamalu Road at the ‘Opaeka‘a Road intersection.
• Thursday, June 13 – Friday, June 14: Anahola Road near the intersection at Kūhiō  Highway.

Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones.  Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
