KILAUEA – The Department of Public Works and its contractor Maui Kupono Builders are announcing road closures and single-lane contraflow traffic patterns for a portion of Kolo Road in Kīlauea, from July 14 to 16, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.
Lane closures will be in place on Kolo Road, between Hookui Road and Kalamania Road.
These traffic modifications are necessary for speed bump installation. Access to properties will be provided. Electronic message boards will be posted to inform motorists. Please plan accordingly, allow extra travel time, and avoid parking in the work zones. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
