Lane closures scheduled for portions of ‘Ele‘ele April 4 to April 11

‘ELE‘ELE – The Department of Public Works Wastewater Management Division and its contractor, Insituform Technologies, announces lane closures for portions of ‘Ele‘ele, weekdays, April 4 to April 11.
Closures are necessary for crews to perform pavement striping work.
Striping work will be performed in the following areas, April 4 to April 11, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.:
- ‘Ele‘ele Road, from the intersection at Kaumuali‘i Highway to just past the intersection of Melemele Road to ‘Ele‘ele Road;
- Melemele Road, from the intersection of ‘Ele‘ele Road to 4580 Melemele Road; and
- Uliuli Road, between Akala Road and Ulaula Road.
In addition, sewer work is scheduled for the ‘Ele‘ele subdivision sewer system April 4 to April 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Work will be performed in various easement locations throughout ‘Ele‘ele. No lane closures are necessary, but work trucks will be parked in front of homes and roads for the duration of the work.

Please exercise caution and drive slowly when commuting through the work area. Motorists should drive with caution, expect delays, and adjust their travel times as needed.
