Lane closures scheduled for portions of ‘Ele‘ele March 31 to April 4

‘ELE‘ELE – The Department of Public Works Wastewater Management Division’s contractor, Insituform Technologies, announces lane closures for portions of ‘Ele‘ele March 31 to April 4. 

Closures are necessary for crews to perform sewer maintenance work in the daytime and pavement striping work in the evening. 

Daytime sewer maintenance work will be performed in various locations in ‘Ele‘ele, March 31 to April 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please see the map below. 

Evening pavement striping work will be performed in the following areas, March 31 to April 3, from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.: 

• The intersection near Halewili Road and Huehu Road; and
• the intersection near Waialo Road and Kaumuali‘i Highway. 

Traffic control, using flaggers, will be implemented in the work areas.

Motorists should drive with caution, expect delays, and adjust their travel times as needed.
