PO‘IPŪ — The Department of Public Works, in coordination with Goodfellow Bros. LLC, is informing drivers of large vehicles about temporary traffic restrictions at the roundabout near Ala Kinoiki, Po‘ipū Road, and Pe‘e Road.

Effective immediately through May 26, 2026, vehicles exceeding 30 feet in length are advised to avoid making a left turn at the roundabout due to ongoing construction activities. Drivers of oversized vehicles should use an alternate route during this time.

In addition, bridge repairs at Kōloa Bridge on Kōloa Road have been completed, and the previously posted load rating has been removed. All traffic is now permitted to travel over Kōloa Bridge.

Construction crews will continue working to complete the project as efficiently as possible while minimizing impacts to the surrounding community.

We appreciate the public’s patience, understanding, and cooperation as these improvements at the Ala Kinoiki, Po‘ipū Road, and Pe‘e intersection are completed.
