The Agriculture Farm Expansion Grant program offers funding to support projects that promote the growth, diversification, and long-term sustainability of Kaua‘i’s agricultural sector. Eligible projects include farm expansion, development of value-added products, or initiatives that improve local food security and economic resilience. The program aims to strengthen Kaua‘i’s agricultural industry by helping local farms and organizations invest in growth, innovation, and the future of the island’s food system.
“The County of Kaua‘i is committed to investing in our farmers and strengthening our island’s food systems,” said Nalani Kaauwai-Brun, Director of the Office of Economic Development. “Through this program, we’re helping build a more self-sufficient and sustainable Kaua‘i for future generations.”
Funding decisions will be announced the week of December 22, 2025, and the funding period will run through December 31, 2026.
To assist interested applicants, OED will host a virtual informational webinar on Thursday, November 6, at 3:00 p.m. The session will cover grant details and the application process.
