LĪHU‘E – The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that online registration for the County’s 2026 Summer swim lessons will open on May 20 at 8 a.m. online at kauai.gov/parks.
Registration for this no-cost program is on a first-come, first-served basis and be limited to 20 participants per class, per session.
There will be two sessions of swim lessons as part of this program. Session 1 will run from June 2 to 26; Session 2 will run from June 30 to July 24. When registering for session 1, you will have the option to take Class 1 Beginner from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.; Class 2 Beginner 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.; or Class 3 Intermediate from 12 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. When registering for session 2, you will have the option to take Class 1 Beginner from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.; Class 2 Intermediate 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.; or Class 3 Advanced from 12 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Each session will conclude with a graduation celebration. For session 1, graduation will take place on Saturday, June 27 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. For session 2, graduation will take place on Saturday, July 25 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
