Parks and Recreation announces Mayor's Track Meet dates

Parks and Recreation News Release

LĪHU‘E – The Department of Parks and Recreation announces the annual Mayor’s Youth Track Meet for students in grades Kindergarten through grade 5.

This no-cost event offers students an opportunity to compete in a fun, competitive, and supportive environment. The meet will take place on a grass track at the following locations:

  • Hanapēpē Stadium on April 11, at 9 a.m.
  • B.J.B. Sports Complex on April 18, at 9 a.m.

Participants may compete in a variety of events, including:

  • Field events: Standing broad jump and softball throw.
  • Running events: 50 meters, 100 meters, 200 meters, and 4x100 relay.

Students may register at their respective schools or on the day of the track meet.
